A Mad Men – Reklámőrültek a drámai, a Modern család pedig a vígjátéksorozat kategóriában vitte el az Emmy-díjat az amerikai főműsoridős televíziós programok vasárnap megrendezett 62. díjátadó ceremóniáján.
A Los Angeles-i Nokia Színházban megtartott díjátadón az HBO műsorai nyerték a legtöbb, összesen 25 Emmy-díjat. A csatorna The Pacific című második világháborús minisorozata nyolc trófeát kapott, míg a Temple Grandin című, autista témájú televíziós filmdrámát hét díjjal jutalmazták.
A tévécsatornák versengésében az ABC a második helyen végzett 18 Emmyvel – ebből hatot a Modern családnak köszönhet. A Fox végül 11, a CBS 10 Emmyvel távozott, az NBC pedig hét díjat szedett össze műsoraival.
